About Video Games
Video games have grown quite popular all over the world. In India, a lot of people from different age brackets have become quite accustomed to playing as a hobby or pastime, a competitive field between friends and family, and as a form of stress relief and means of relaxing. For whatever reason, its popularity continues to rise in India as more and more people are exposed and introduced to the many different games that can be played in consoles and personal computers.
The evolution of this digital entertainment marvel began a few decades back, with the development of electronically programmed user interface technology which allowed people to interact with programs at a much higher degree. Video games nowadays have since grown and evolved from their primitive beginnings. These days in India and other parts of the world, video games feature only the highest quality of graphics and game play that the experience borders on reality for some. Other advancements in the industry have allowed children and adults in India to be able to play with or against people in other parts of the world. This is especially true in the case of MMORPGs, or massively multi-player online role-playing games. Children in India can be seen spending countless hours at home or at public computer rental shops leveling up their characters, interacting with friends and foes, and generally enjoying themselves with an idea that was started a long time ago by a game that simply had two rudders and a digital ball.
Of course, entertainment targeted at children does not really fall far from educational fields. In India, where not all kids are able to afford schooling, video games are considered a good option. There are a couple of dozens of games that will be of great help to children when it comes to improving their basic skills.

How to Enhance Your Computer Gaming Experience With the Best Accessories
The difference between standard desktop and laptop computers and gaming level computers and laptops is significant. The main area that they differ is in performance, but almost as significant for gamers is appearance or design. Gamers want their computers to be top of the line in all ways, including how they look. These differences are also quite apparent in the accessories that are available for the gaming laptops and computers.
The gaming environment demands high performance. Any edge that a gamer can have over his opponent could mean the difference between life and death (in the cyber-world of course....). Luckily for gamers companies like Logitech, Razer and also Microsoft are in tune with this and have an entire group of gaming accessories that are targeted for this unique group of users.
If you are just getting started with acquiring your gaming equipment it is essential that you match your high performance computer with the right gaming accessories. Otherwise you could be limiting the overall performance available to you. Don't be the one out there with a standard mouse or keyboard or you could be very frustrated with your lack of success with most games today. This is especially true for gaming on line. The serious gamers have all the top accessories to enhance their play ability to the maximum.
Obviously, if you desire the higher performance of the gaming accessories there is a price to pay. But the difference in performance is worth the price - that is, if you are serious about your game play. As mentioned the gaming accessories available not only can enhance and improve your game play but there are accessories available to also just help make your laptop look slick and that you can customize to your personality.
A gaming level mouse is a great way to start adding the right accessories to your gaming system. The Logitech G9 is an excellent choice for this. You can change the grip you can also change the weight. You can customize the LEDs. Even use onboard memory to take up to 5 mouse profiles with you to the next LAN party. In every way, the G9 mouse lets you tune for the way you play. Checkout Logitech's ID Grip for the G9 Mouse which lets you customize the look of the G9.
Another great choice for a gaming grade mouse is the Razer DeathAdder Gaming Mouse. Take on your enemies with this lightning-fast mouse that delivers pinpoint accuracy for an incredible gaming experience. It is also equipped with 5 programmable buttons, so you can customize this mouse to fit your preferences
Next, one should consider a gaming level keyboard. Again Logitech has a great product with the G15 Gaming Keyboard. The Logitech G15 keyboard keeps you informed and outfitted to win. With the Logitech-exclusive GamePanel LCD, you can easily find out what server your friends are using, or receive notification when your World of Warcraft battleground becomes available. You can also create useful macros on the fly and play them back with a single press of a G-key. The illuminated characters on the keyboard will allow you to play late into the night.
For a great gaming keyboard you should really check out the Saitek Cyborg Keyboard. You can really enhance your gaming skills with this programmable keyboard. This high-end, adjustable, gaming keyboard has customizable back lighting, programmable functions and media keys. One of the best features is the hard wearing, metal-plated key caps in key gaming areas.
Now to really enhance game play the serious gamer needs to outfit his system with a great headset and speaker system. Even though gaming grade laptops focus on high performance they do lack in the area of the audio system. This is where you need to look at the gaming headsets that are available. Many of the games today require fast and furious communication with other team members. If your team can't communicate clearly you will be taken out quickly in today's high action games.

Free Risk Game - Review of Free Full PC Download Version of Hasbro's Risk Game
This review of the full version free risk game download includes details of how it is played and where to get a full downloadable PC version. The popular classic board game is a world domination strategy competition, where the board is a map of the world separated into territories. The main aim is to use your troops to take over all the territories and basically dominate the map with your army. The computer adaptation is an excellent reproduction. And with the extra benefits of playing this electronic version, makes it well worth downloading.
In this free Risk game adaptation, you begin with naming your General and choosing 2 opponents to play against. Either other people playing on the same PC or computer controlled (AI) generals. There are 16 different generals to choose from, all named after famous generals from history. They are each given a rating, so if you are newbie you'd opt for a general with a 1 star rating for 'easy' level whilst once you've had more practise you may want tougher opposition and so you can choose a general with a 5 star rating.
Just like the board game, all the players are given the same amount of troops which you will distribute around the board map within the territories you own. But in this version there are 2 modes; you can choose to share out the countries using the classic board method called the Territory Claim mode or the Random Deal mode which is where you allow the PC to share out the territories.
Once all the players' armies have been placed on the map, you start the game. The aim is to dominate the world map, which you do by trying to overtake each opposing army that is in a neighbouring territory to yours.
You start your turn by choosing which bordering territory you want to attack, making sure you have at least two groups of armies in the territory you are attacking from. The fight for the territory begins. This is done by both the attacker and defender rolling the dice, which is done graphically by clicking on 'roll' to roll the dice. Whoever gets the highest number on the dice wins that battle, which results in knocking out one of the loser's army. The attacker can choose to roll again until they completely defeat the defenders armies or until the attacker runs out of armies (remember that the attacker must have a minimum of 2 armies in the attacking country).
You can choose to attack a number of countries within your go and once you have finished, it is the next players turn to make attacks to try and take over countries. Like the original you get reinforcements if you own a whole continent and collect bonus cards which you can then trade in for extra cavalry, infantry or artillery.
The additional benefits to playing this full version free Risk game on your PC include:
- You can play against the computer with AI generals - so you can play it whenever you want
- There is background music, sound effects, voice-overs for the AI generals and animation that enhance and make the game more fun
- You can speed up the setting of the armies, by choosing the Random deal mode
- You can get a full version download of this free Risk game, not just a trial version so you can play unlimited Risk games on your PC
- It's great to play for a bit of nostalgia for fans of the original
- With the 16 AI generals you can choose the level of difficulty of each of the games, with a choice of easy (1 star) to hard (5 stars) ranked General opponents each named after a famous general from history such as Napoleon and Wellington!
This computer adaptation of one of the most popular board games is easy to pick up, fun to play and has some well thought out extras. As you can get a free Risk game full version download, it is a great choice and definitely worth downloading especially for sentimental board gaming fans and strategy gamers.

Plants Vs Zombies - Pogo Party
Pogo party is a mini game within Plants vs Zombies. I accessed to some gaming sites yesterday and found that it is perhaps one of the mini games that people seem to have trouble with. For myself, I won it in the third try. In the first try, I didn't know what to expect so I lost quite quickly. The second try is much better, just that I was careless and let a pogo zombie hop all the way through without even noticing, perhaps due to tiredness of my eyes for playing too long.
My strategy is quite unorthodox, because it relies on chompers. Yes, you read it right. CHOMPERS, the seemingly useless plant.
How I came to use chompers is because I noticed that the pogo zombies have quite a bit more endurance than normal zombies, even after the pogo stick is sucked away by the magnet. Even 2 cabbage-pult in a row cannot stop them without the outer one being eaten. Furthermore, I noticed that the zombies come one by one, slowly when not in "a huge wave". So, I need something that can kill zombies with more than average toughness and the reload speed need not be very fast. There comes the idea of using chompers.
My selected plants are these: Chompers, Jalapeno, Sunflower, Twin Sunflower, Frost Shroom, Flower Pot, Magnet, Coffee Bean, Pumpkin and Pumpkin Imitator. Oh yeah, be sure to buy the roof cleaners from Crazy Dave for $3000. Small change right?
The strategy: Focus on sun power collection. Build and build sunflowers as fast as possible and upgrade to twin sunflower when it comes. When Pogo zombies comes by, ignore it! Make full use of your roof cleaners! I don't know if it is luck or what but I never got two Pogo Zombies coming in the same lane after one another during the early game period. They would come in such a pattern that one will appear in one lane only, which will be stopped by my roof cleaners while I am building up a massive sunlight factory. I suspect it is not luck, because even the tree of wisdom did recommend using roof cleaners.
After all the roof cleaners are used up, you should have 2 rows of sunflowers, with a few twin sunflowers, at least 3 magnet, if not 5, and several chompers with pumpkin to buff them. A thing to note about magnet. Before the roof cleaners are used up, DO NOT WAKE THEM UP! Just plant them and keep them asleep. You definitely do not want the pogo-less zombies to walk by and eat your plants before an appropriate defense force is ready. I emphasize that the early game is to build and gather sunlight, not to build a defense yet.
By this time, the first wave should be coming. The pumpkin protected chompers should be capable to absorb quite a bit of damage. If it falls, feel free to build another. By now, your sunlight should be more than enough to spam. You may also need to pumpkin your other plants, because the magnet might suck a pogo stick in mid air, dropping the zombie on a pumpkin-less plant. That is why I used imitator. You should save jalapeno for emergencies, like a case where all your magnets are used up and one lone pogo zombie goes through all the way, like what it did in my second game.
Frost shrooms are marvelous plants, since it slows down the zombies, giving you precious time for the magnets and chompers to reload and slow down the eating of the zombies, saving your pumpkins as well. The beautiful thing about chompers is that it can eat stuff two spaces in front of it! If a chomper is placed behind another plant, it can eat the zombie that is eating the plant in front. Another great thing about chompers is the fast reload time. You can always dig out a chomper that is digesting and drop another one or just put another flowerpot in the front column and a chomper on it for quick killing.
I hope this can help people to clear that mini game easily. Although I would like to think that this is my original idea, this may not be true. There are a lot of smarter people than yours truly. If another person has already shared something like this online or what, I would like to say that I did not copy or intend to copy what you have done or wrote or shared or anything else. It would be a case of coincidence, since I would not copy another person's ideas and pass them off as my own. In that case of coincidence, I would give full credit to the originator of the idea. By the way, have fun playing the game!

Trivial Pursuit - A New Way to Play
Trivial Pursuit originally was a board game testing a players general and popular culture knowledge. It was created in 1979 by Scott Abbott who one day found pieces of his scrabble missing and decided with some friends to create their own game which after some development was released in 1982. In 1984 over 20 million games were sold and had been sold in 26 countries in 17 languages. Trivial Pursuit has been developed into TV shows in several of the countries including the USA, England and Spain and the game itself has also appeared in several TV shows including Seinfeld.
Trivial Pursuit has also been a highly competitive game with people really getting fired up over the questions, certainly everyone has that one fact they learned through playing trivial pursuit that they will never forget. There have been several editions to suit different age ranges including Trivial Pursuit Junior and Trivial Pursuit Family as well as the original Trivial Pursuit. To celebrate the 25 year span of this well loved game there will be a relaunch of the boxed game as well as an online version with a version available for the Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360 (and Live).
With various playing modes such as multiplayer and single player there are some good games such as 'clear the board' to name but one from within the single player mode. The visuals are good and there are a lot of new questions and types that are exclusive to the console version and it allows you to play amongst the family at home on the living room TV. On the down side, the questions are a little repetitive after a while and although the quality of the asked trivia questions is good, some of you will be left pondering random arts books that you swear blind were never even written! All in all EA have developed a fairly strong outing for a classic board game's adoption to the gamers world, although if these games translate very well is a different question altogether.
