Nintendo releases list of 3DS games


Nintendo has released the list of video game titles that will accompany the new gaming platform. The 3DS, which is the first gaming device to offer a three dimensional experience without the use of 3D glasses, will be available early in 2011.

In Japan, ten video game titles will be released in conjunction with the Nintendo 3DS, namely Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D (from Nintendo), Steel Diver (from Nintendo), Pilotwings Resort (from Nintendo), Nintendogs + Cats (from Nintendo), Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle (from Level 5), Pro Baseball Spirits (from Konami), Super Monkey Ball (from Sega), Ridge Racer 3D (from Namco Bandai), Samurai Warriors Chronicle (from Tecmo Koei), Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition (from Capcom). Nintendo's Kid Icarus: Uprising and Konami's Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D are also set for release later in 2011.
In addition, there are games that do not have release dates but have been confirmed to be in development for the platform.

These include Star Fox 64 3D (from Nintendo), Chocobo Racing 3D (from Square Enix), Animal Crossing (from Nintendo), Paper Mario (from Nintendo), Dead or Alive: Dimensions (from Tecmo Koei), Mario Kart (from Nintendo), Resident Evil: Revelations (from Capcom) and Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D (from Capcom). The games are expected to be launched sometime in the second half of 2011.
